My Birthday Presents

I thought I should write another post about the special gift my kiddos gave me.

I posted a pic of my t- shirt from them in my birthday post, here's some with clearer pics.  On top of that, my sweetie gal  gave me a 'coupon book'.  A 'book' that I can claim massages, chores etc...  So sweet isn't it?  Not that I can't get them to do all that!  Haha!

From LZdaddy, I got what I wanted, a camera!  Thank you my loves!!  I'm blessed! ♥

LZdaddy's Birthday 2011

Every year, LZdaddy's birthday falls on exam period. He decided not to celebrate as usual, he rather spend the time coaching his little ones. You are a great dad, my love! ♥

Happy Birthday Dad

It's my Daddy's birthday.... It has been some time since I mentioned about him in the blog.  He has not been the same ever since the stroke and Mom is taking care of him full time now.  He looks so fragile now... Wished I could do more for them....

Dad was very happy my little ones were there to celebrate his birthday. He was all smile when they sang birthday song, blew candles..... He has not been the same ever since the stroke...  He was once a strong man who doesn't need someone to dress him or help him when eats.   He was so down and feeling helpless.  Then one day, my Dad started going to church and read bible everyday.  Faith has made him a stronger person now and give him hope. I THANK GOD for that!  Both my parents are baptized since Christmas 2009!

Yummmmmsss! That's what I got for breakfast this morning on my birthday! LZ (including Beanie) gave me homemade birthday cards and they massaged me!

A simple birthday celebration @ Conrad Hotel, Oscar's. We all had a wonderful time and ate till our heart content. I'm very blessed.... Thank you LZdaddy & Babies.... I love all of you!

LZdaddy's Birthday

 We ordered a hedgehog birthday cake for our birthday man (his favourite animal)

A mini celebration for LZdaddy this year again and looks like it's gonna be the same till our babies' are grown up. Hehe..... It was exams period for my 2 older babies.  父爱是那么的伟大！ LZdaddy 说他宁愿把时间放在陪孩子读书。

L & Z were very sweet....  They made cards for daddy & a medal!  My girl is full of ideas!  She was the one who came out with the idea of making a medal for daddy.   After our kids presented the medal & cards to him, LZdaddy was beaming! Yes, even without going out for dinner or any celebration we enjoyed very much, especially the birthday man.

L & her best pals since nursery, Rachel & Charmaine. Pics was taken today at Charmaine's birthday party and she got a bear!  She declares that from now on the bear will sleeps with her.

Beanie's 1st Birthday Party

Beanie celebrated his FIRST Birthday with our families from both sides and one of our close friends.  Beanie is very blessed, or rather all my children. They are surrounded by family members who love them and shower them with lots of attention.

We ordered from the same catering from his full month celebration.  My cousins helped to blow balloons and decorate the function room.  I ordered the cookies together with the cake and they were a hit!

LZ thought of games to play at the party and we only managed to play 1 game coz they were extremely tired after the waterplay, bubbles fun and running around. We played treasure hunt, which L suggested.  I had to 'shoo' them to the playground in order to hide the treasure, chocolates & candies.  I think they had more fun than the birthday boy!

Beanie, obviously was the star of the day!  He was too busy walking around, being carried by our family members and eating!  He ate so much sushi!
He wanted me to carry him whenever he sees me and I was glad many of them took care of him while I was recording videos and taking pics.

He likes to watch Bob the Builder and gets excited when he hears the song.  So for his birthday, I ordered a 'Bob the Builder' chocolate fondant cake for him.  He was so HAPPY! 

Beanie sat on the table with the birthday cake and I think he enjoyed it! As it was a fondant cake, we didn't have to worry about him 'destroying' the cake.  He was happily playing with the fondant Bob and broke Bob's head!  Hahaha...  Of coz I was able to put it back easily.

The embarrassing moment was after singing the birthday songs, we forgot about the knife!  Everyone waited while the helper went back to get one.  While waiting, I think it was my SIL suggested letting Beanie play with the cake.  She guided him how to 'dig' a hole on the cake!  AND he ate it!  So cute!

Our Anniversary & Ah Ma's Birthday Celebration

It is Ah Ma's birthday as well as our Anniversary... We didn't do anything special today since we have already celebrated our anniversary @ Regis.  We had dinner with our family @ a Chinese restaurant which I don't even know the name.

My mother-in-law is a very humble woman and she dedicate her whole life to the family.  I always remember what LZdaddy told me her, how hardworking she is and how much she care for children.  I have seen how she took care of my father-in-law when he was very ill.  Even though I don't speak hokkien (when I marry LZdaddy), we try to communicate with each other.  I am proud to say that I am able to speak simple hokkien now.  Hehehe... 

The center pic was the group pic and some couldn't make it for the dinner.  Bottom right pic: Even though Beanie fell asleep, his dear uncle didn't want him to be left out of the cousins group photo.  So sweet of him.  I was so busy yakking that I didn't take many pics, so some of these were from my nieces.

This is the second year that L joined the big brothers & sister at the table during dinner.   She loves it coz it makes her feel like she is part of the 'gang' and a grown up.  Probably by next year, Z will be able to join the group. I think he can't wait to join them coz he went over to their table as soon as he finished his dinner.  LZ are very fortunate to have so many gorgor & jiejie to love and play with them,  though the age gap are quite big.  As for Beanie, he was the center of attraction, especially with their uncles & aunties.

We had a wonderful meal with our family and I feel so relax coz my SILs & BILs helped to take care of Beanie and gorgor & jiejie took care of L & Z.  Hehehe...

Halloween, My Birthday

Finally L exams is over this week and we can celebrate LZdaddy's birthday(belated) & mine.  After swimming lesson, LZdaddy & L went to look for pressies and also to spend some time alone.  L said it was not fair that Z got to choose daddy's present last week and so she got to choose presents for me now.

My lovely girl choose a soft toy for me, a dog.  She knew that I still miss Princey.... Yes, I still miss him very much.... I still cry whenever I think of him... I told myself I am not going to get another pet dog again... That's why my sweet little girl got me a dog soft toy.  LZ also each made a card for me and I have another present which I need to choose.  Yeah!

In the evening, we had buffet at Conrade Hotel, one of our favourite buffet place.  Dinner was great!  There were a plenty of oysters that night!  From Canada, Australia....  I can't remembered how many oyster I took. Another sinful stuffs that I took was pralines & cheese.  Gosh!  They were quite a few to choose from...  Unlike daddy,  I totally let myself go! I think I have put on a few kilos in a night!  Hahaha....

LZ were well behaved and enjoyed taking their own food.  L took lots of mussels and she declared mussels is her favourite food.  Z didn't eat as much, he is still coughing a little.  We allowed him to have a little ice-cream and that cheered him up.

Beanie was fantastic too!  He probably knew it is mommy's birthday.. Hehehe...  He ate his dinner (brought from home) and ate bread after that.  He had very good appetite tonight. One thing I didn't like was the baby chair, it wasn't very comfy for him (no cushion).  I was glad I brought his pram along.  He stayed in the pram when daddy gave him watermelon.  Less than half hour later, he fell asleep.  How long were we at the restaurant?  3 hours!  When Beanie was younger, we could never spend so much time in a restaurant!

 LZdaddy & L chose this cake for me.  My presents from LZfamily, a soft toy (hidden behind the cards). The white card from L and blue from Z.  He made my card so special!  Z made a slot so that the little submarine can move!  3 flowers represents my 3 babies and the yummy cake.  Family pic not well taken coz my helper doesn't know how to focus it and all of us were extremely tired, none was smiling except me....

This year, my birthday is different from the others... I am a mother of 3! Happy Birthday to me! My wish? To shed of the weight I put on during my pregnancy...
