Smile

Managed to take a few pics of him smiling. It was not easy to ask him to smile for the camera though he smiles alot nowadays. Every time I call his name, he smiles but as soon as I bring up the camera, he stops.

Z's New Look & Outing With 3 Babies

Collected his specs today! Did you guess it right? He chose the frame that is 3rd from the left in the pic. He likes that partly because LZdaddy told him he looks handsome with it.

*****************************************
There is something that I want to note down about today! I went out alone with my 3 Babies (without helper)! Remember I promised L that I will bring her along the next time? I kept my promise!

I was actually quite nervous about crossing the junction with ZJ in the pram and holding on to LZ. So before we went off, I told them to stand on each side of the pram when we are walking. Then when we are the escalator, L took the initiative to hold on to Z's hand and walk ahead of me. I don't know why, I feel a sense of warmth and my eyes was teary when I look at both of them holding hands and little ZJ in the pram.

I'm glad I did that coz I had a wonderful time with them(though it was just a short while) and I even managed to do marketing! L was such a great help(taking care of ZJ when I was looking at Z trying out his specs), Z and ZJ were so well behaved.

His New Look - ZJ

Brought my boys to the salon for their haircut and had to leave L at home coz I was not so confident in handling 3 kids and it is a weekend (mall was packed). I promised L I will bring her along the next time.

Z used to have his haircut at the kid's salon till I found this adult salon charge cheaper when I take package from them. Most important is that Z is only comfortable with Alfred gorgor cutting his hair. We were there on Thursday but because Alfred has gone home and my boy refused to let others cut his hair, so we had to go back there today.
ZJ doesn't have much hair but we still decided to shave him. He was uncomfortable when Alfred was shaving his hair. I was carrying him and the stylist was helping to collect ZJ's hair (I keep their baby's hair). I think it was because he was falling asleep and feeling grouchy. To my surprise, Alfred shaved his hair for free! I saved $14! I mean we don't really know him and we have been there for couple of times only. It must be our lucky day!

Actually not much difference right?

LZ's Latest Ambitions

Kids' ambitions change all the time. I agree.

Recently, L was asked to write a short Chinese compo (for oral exams) what she would like to be when she grows up. I almost faint when she asked me how to write MODEL in Chinese! Aiyo... She is only 7+ right? I'm sure her ambition will change again. She wanted to be a doctor, a school teacher then it changed to dance teacher.

Her reason being a model? Can wear pretty clothes and walk on the runway. Blame it on me! I have been watching Project Runway with her. How come she never think of being a designer then?

When she used to tell me she wants to be a doc or a teacher, I always tell her "then you must study hard" but now she wants to be a model, I don't think I can say that right? I told her the life span of being a model is very short and that cannot be a long term career. So she changed and says she wants to be a teacher again.

When Z told me what he wants to be, I almost faint too!He wants to be a SCIENTIST! I asked him why and he said he want to do cloning!Huh? Cloning? Wah! Very BIG ambition! He said he wants to clone Cloudy, his pet hamster. Anyway, Z's ambition changed many times. He wanted to be a footballer, firefighter, policeman.... I can't imagine what he wants to be next.

I think it is fun to ask them every now and then what they want to be. LZ and I had fun talking about their ambitions. Have you ask your child lately what they want to be?

Early Mother's Day Celebration

Ah Ma has no problem handling ZJ. She has 8 children and 18 grandchildren (including ZJ)

We celebrated Mother's Day today coz someone told my MIL the wrong date and it was a last minute thing. Anyway, it is better that we celebrate today as L will be having exams soon. LZ were quite disappointed to see only a few cousins there. Some of them already made plans earlier and some were not in town.

This is the first time LZ joined their cousin at the dinner table. They used to eat in the living room or with the adults.

Being the youngest, ZJ has all the attention from his uncles & aunties. I remembered it used to be L, then Z. I think LZ don't see the difference, they were too busy playing with their cousins or toys.
