Bento #205 - Lunch

In the box: Bulgogi, bacon with asparagus, grapes & rice.

Recently bought a bottle of bulgogi sauce and decided to try it out.  Not too bad, looks like I have another choice when comes to preparing a quick meal.

Yes, another messy bento  for my girl again.  My new helper can't cook at all, not even simple stir fry vegetables.  She was supposed to have been trained by my relative for the past 1 month+... Haiz... So I have to teach her from scratch and she is driving me crazy coz she puts soya sauce for every dishes!  Even without my instruction... At times, I have to throw away what is cooked coz it is too salty.  For instance, Beanie's steamed vegetables.

Bento #204 - Homemade Bread

In the boxes: Homemade pork floss bread, golden kiwi & grapes.

This is my FIRST time making homemade bread! Best part is that it does not require any kneading. I don't have a bread kneading machine so when I chanced upon this recipe, I know I have to try it out. LZdaddy gave me a pass! Hehe....  Not too bad for a first timer huh?   My LZ love it coz it is filled with pork floss.

Movie - Karate Kid

Youth day - We planned to watch Toy story but last mins we decided to watch Karate Kid.  This is probably Beanie's FIRST official movie coz he didn't nap at all (he used to sleep throughout)! He munched throughout the movie, just like all of us. Hehe...  We had so much of the popcorn that we had very late dinner.

Bento #203 - Lunch

In the box: Rice, minced pork with egg tofu & broccoli.

I know, the bento for my princess looks a little messy...  Not only that, my house is quite messy too.  We may not have a helper for these few days, but we really enjoy without one for now.  Reality will set in once the house starts to have bugs all around and clothes piling up. Haha...

Maidless for now...

Haiz...  Sent helper off 2 day ago(29th Jun) coz I can't tolerate her anymore...  Lazy, dirty & worst was beginning to show attitude.  After 9 months with her, I have enough!  Talked to her many times and chances given but she took me for granted.  Have you seen a helper finished cleaning the house only in the evening?  Well, mine did that...

She is not overloaded with work, she only needs to do chores and help with a little of the cooking. I fetch & send my kids, most of the time I am the one cooking (my family didn't like her cooking) and she doesn't have to take care of my kids at all.

The only time she needs to help me with my kids is to send L for her ballet.  On the day she left, I was shocked to find out that as soon as she left my girl at the center, she went off to shop & make phone calls.  We found many used phone cards on her and many unfamiliar numbers on her notes! I wonder if she goes out when we were out on weekends...

My new helper should be over at my place yesterday but I need a break from having one.  Little ones were all trying to be in their best behavior, knowing that their mommy is handling everything on her own.  But they are afterall, kids, I don't expect them to help me to keep the place clean & tidy.  I ought to be happy if they don't mess up the house.

I hope my new helper will be good and able to help me and work with me till her contract ends...
