After lessons

For 2 days, my boys have been awesome!  They patiently waited for jiejie to finish her lessons.
For the first day after lesson & lunch, we went for a movie!  First time without daddy!  Kind of weird without him around.  We watched Men In black!
For the 2nd day, L went for a haircut right after lesson.  We had a little celebration for her at a Japanese restaurant.  Hurray to my gal for learning how to cycle!

Movie - Smurfs

My little ones before watching the movie - Smurfs.   They couldn't resist taking pics with 'Mr Bean'.  Beanie loves watching his silly acts and the cartoon series too.

I love Smurfs since young and when I found out about the movie, I knew we have to watch it!  So glad my little ones enjoyed it.

Movie - Kungfu Panda 2

We went for a movie today, Kungfu panda 2. It was a gd movie, better than the first one.  LZ enjoyed it.

Think it has bn a long time since Beanie went for a movie... He was fine for first half of the show, laugh & get excited when he saw fire. Then he started to get restless. Probably due to no nap in the afternoon... He insisted on sitting on my lap n later, insisted that I stand and carry him! I'm so glad that we booked the 2nd last row seats. I was able to sneak to the back with him. Finally I managed to pacify him and continued to enjoyed the show.

It was about 9pm when the show ended... I thought my kids may not be able to eat much for dinner, after having so much popcorns. They almost finished the whole plate of their food! and I initially wanted to order a plate for them to share!

Movie - Karate Kid

Youth day - We planned to watch Toy story but last mins we decided to watch Karate Kid.  This is probably Beanie's FIRST official movie coz he didn't nap at all (he used to sleep throughout)! He munched throughout the movie, just like all of us. Hehe...  We had so much of the popcorn that we had very late dinner.

New Year Eve & New Year Day

31st Dec 2009

We didn't do much for the past few days as Beanie still recovering from flu.  He fell sick right after Christmas (26th Dec) and visited the PD for the first time (for flu).  Z fell sick first then followed by him.  I was glad that both didn't have any fever.

We wanted to watch the Chipmunk Movie and again we couldn't get the tickets. Not to disappoint our kids again, we bought the ticket for the next day.  Very kiasu right?

We spent some time at the arcade and I realised throughout the holiday, my LZ didn't go to the arcade at all!  They have been 'busied' playing FB games, they knew that once school reopened, they won't be able to do that often.  I managed to get a cookbook on risotto and after which we had a tea break.  LZ were happily talking about the game cards and Beanie was asleep in the pram.

For that night, I cooked seafood risotto!  Didn't expect it took such a long time to cook and we had late dinner...  LZ didn't like it but LZdaddy loves it... Haiz...  Tough to please all... Not going to give up and shall try other risotto dishes with meat which I think my kids would prefer.

Anyway, it is a bliss to spend quality time with my loved ones, minus the dinner.

1st Jan 2010

Finally we get to watch the Chipmunk Movie!   LZ enjoyed the movie and Beanie fell asleep again.. Must be the medicine or he loves sleeping in the cinema?!  Hehe...

LZdaddy suggested having steamboat for dinner and we all agreed.  We went to Sheng Siong, which the kids been there only once, I think.  The were fascinated by the seafood.  "Oh! mommy!  See see!  They have baby shark!"  "Daddy daddy!  Can we try catching it?"  etc...  I think my kids looked like they have never been out before! Haha....  The staffs are excellent!  Especially the auntie who helped us choose the clams and crab.

In the evening,  we had steamboat prepared by LZdaddy.  Yummy!  See the clams L was scooping?  I can't remember the name of it, but it was very tasty!  LZdaddy steamed it with garlic & chili padi (no chili for the kids).   We had it during Christmas too and for the past few days.  It sold out very fast and while we were at the store, there were many people buying it too.

This coming Monday, it will be a new routine for me and as well as for Z.  Not much changes for L, except that she will have a new form teacher and some new classmates.  I don't have to worry much about her coz she is more independent.  He will be spending longer hours in school and in a bigger environment. For me, I don't have to go to 2 different schools to pick them and at different timing.  Beanie will be able to have a longer nap time in the morning and I can't wait to enroll him in gym class.  Hopefully I can squeeze in some time to exercise or more time for FB games?!  Hehehe...

There is something that I forgot to note down about our Christmas.  LZ made a card each for LZdaddy and I. Guess what?  They attached a HONG BAO with the cards for us!  What makes it special is that they wrapped it with white paper and with their own pocket money!  This is the FIRST time my babies gave us money!  Aiyo.... My babies know how to melt our heart man!

Princess & The Frog

 *poster from HERE*

We planned to watch The Chipmunk movie but it was sold out!  So we watched The princess and the Frog.   This is Beanie's 2ND movie and this time, he he fell asleep again.

We enjoyed the show and the company too.  After the show, we had dinner with our friends and 'something' happened to Z!  Which I will blog about it in the next post.

On Their Birthdays...

Today is my 2 beautiful Babies, L & Z's BIRTHDAYS!  I had planned many programmes for them (places that they would love to go) but unfortunately things didn't turn out the way it should be...  Z fractured his thumb and I had to change plans.  Z can't get wet nor can he be under the sun for too long, his hand (with cast) will be itchy.

In the morning, L went for swimming lesson and I spent some times with my boys.  When LZdaddy & L came home, we rushed to the mall for a quick lunch at the food court.  I thought they would grumbled about having lunch at the food court on their birthdays but they did not.  Looks like my babies are more matured than I thought.  They were happy to eat their favourite char siew rice & chicken rice.

They jumped with joy when they found out we bought tickets for the movie 'Planet 51'!  Yes, they JUMPED with joy!  Hahaha...

Beanie feel asleep while we were having lunch and he slept again halfway through the movie.  Oh!  This is Beanie's very FIRST MOVIE! I was praying so hard that he will be well behaved throughout. He did except for that few mins before he fell asleep, I brought him out for a while and nurse him to sleep after we went back to seat.

Then we met our friends to watch the SpongeBob Show together at Suntec.  Both of them are crazy over SpongeBob & his friends!

Thanks to my friend, L & Z were able to take pictures with SpongeBob & his friends.

After the show, we shop for a while before having dinner.   L wanted to eat western food and Z wanted noodles. Aiyo!  How?  How to split ourselves into 2?  When you have 2 kids having birthdays on the same day, you would try to please them right?  Thank goodness there are a stretch of restaurants upstairs, we were seated at the Vietnamese restaurant and they allowed us to order from another restaurant too.

After dinner, we went to the Singapore Flyer.  We were surprised that it was so crowded!  We found out there were quite a few of the capsules were booked and worst was there were a long queue...  We had to disappoint LZ.... Of coz they were disappointed, especially my princess. It was such a long queue and getting late too.  But being happy-go-lucky kids, they get over it very soon and were running around.

Their birthday celebration was not over yet!  How can we not have birthday cakes for them right?  We went home for the cakes & their presents.

L was rather tired by then... She is so used to sleeping early... She brightened up when she sees the cake.

Z was in the mood to pose for me today!

My Beanie is more excited than his siblings!

Though we didn't go for the Singapore Flyer or places they want to go (before Z's injury), it turned out well.  They were very happy with what I planned for them.

Day Out With LZdaddy

LZdaddy took a day off from work to spend time with LZ. How glad I was! I appreciate LZdaddy making effort to take care of LZ while I am busy taking care of ZJ. Imagine me cooped up at home during this school holiday with 3 kids! I signed L up for her school 5 days (2hrs) Creative Writing Workshop in the mornings so I have to keep Z entertainment and busy with Baby Z.

LZ had lunch with daddy before they went to watch the movie "The Tales Of Despereaux". After movie, they decided to go prawning! Hmmm... I think this is the first time LZdaddy brought them out the whole day! Wished I could join them.... They didn't get home till 10+pm!
