What's my Name?

Today decided to teach Z how to say our names.... After awhile, he can remembers all our names(Daddy, Mommy & Jiejie). We like the way he says daddy's name! Jiejie was like the teacher, making sure that he pronounces our names correctly.

On Our Own....

Daddy was not in town... :( After work was too tired to cook dinner, decided to bring them out for dinner. I was worried that I may not be able to handle them alone during dinner as I was very tired. We have been alone lots of times but we never eat out(with 2 kids? Have to think twice). We either have takeaways, cook or my mom will be there.

After picking them from school, ask them if they would like to eat out. Obviously, their answers will be "YES". Of coz I told them they will have to behave themselves. We had a wonderful dinner at HANS(besides the mess they made, dun worry, I do clean it up). I ordered pasta w/ chipolatas for them and fried bee hoon for myself. Well, I end up eating half of the pasta and Z & L finished eating mine. :) We even have sugar rolls for deserts coz Z has been saying,"mommy, buy cake"! He's a cake lover! Thereafter, we did marketing...

Before we go to the supermarket, I told L to remind me to buy those few items that I need. Below were our conversation:
L : "Mommy, u need to get....."
Me : "Ok... Hmmmm... Did I forget anything?"
L : "Mommy, dun forget to get the butter."
Me : "Huh? I dun remember telling you that I need butter."
L : "U know, mommy, we have not make anything together for soooo long..., so I think we need butter."

Gagaga..... L is really CUTE! Think I'll have to start our cookie session soon...

I'm so happy that both of them have been behaving themselves and what more can I ask?

Rides at Great World

We definitely had a busy day! Morning went for blading, haircut and then went to Great World for shopping. Was thinking we haven't been to this place for some time and needed to get cups for Z. We had dinner at the vietnamese restaurent and they enjoyed the rides. It has been a long day.... Think tomorrow better stay at home to rest.

Bye Bye to My Hair

After roller blades lesson, L went for a hair cut.... Not used to it, told her that this probably the last time I'm going to cut her hair short. Think she dun really like it but coz she asked for it(remember? She wants to have the same hairstyle as her GF) so she told me she likes both long & short hair... Haiz... will have to wait for her hair to grow long before I get to play with her hair again. Heeheee...

Roller Bladding

L 1st roller bladding lesson... She was very excited abt it ! While she was having her lesson, Z enjoyed having a stroll at the park. The coach said that the next lesson will have to be one to one, so she can't have the lesson with Laetitia. Z will have to wait another 6 months before he can learn...

We went to see the sound collector show with the school... They enjoyed the show.. Was worried that Z will not sit thru out the show but he did!

After the trip, went bk to school for lunch...

13 Mar 2006 Monday I Can Read / Mommy Mommy

L was so excited when she came home, and read her book abt dinosaur on her own! Her reading skill has been improving, thanks to her teachers and of coz me too.. Heehee... It really helps if you read to your kids everyday and you need lots of patience. I am very glad she is very interested in reading and will have the initiative to pick up a book to learn to read or look at the pics and come out with own story. Z is trying to pick up this gd habbit from his jie jie, slowly but certainly.
Have been trying to get L to cut her hair short, but her reply is always "princess don't have short hair!". Today she came home and said that she wants her hair short(bob hairstyle) like her gd friend, Lauren. Haiz... nowadays kids....

Z has been calling me mama until today when I pick him up from school. He ran towards me and shouted "Mommy mommy". Hmmm... I still like it when he call me mama.

12 Mar 2006 Sunday / Beach

Went to the beach... Unfortunately, the water was still very dirty after 3 wks. L & Z were disappointed once again that they can't get into the water. Nevertheless, they enjoyed the trip. They haven't been going out for awhile cos they were sick.
