Look What He Did!

See all the orange marks on his face and hands?  Since we are in the car and there's no paper, he did this to himself and the car seat! Like I mentioned in his monthly updates, he likes to take any pens pr markers and doodle.

I was glad that we have already picked LZ up from school.

Bento #176 (2 sets) - Lunch

In the boxes: Beef rice, edamame, watermelon (Z), dragonfruit (L) and grapes

I asked LZ if the want beef rice for their bento and they said yes.  Actually, I was the one who wanted to eat beef rice so I managed to convince them to have it too.  

I missed the authentic beef rice in Japan... I must learn to cook that when I meet my cousin-in-law.  I remembered I used to eat it whenever I arrived late in Tokyo.  It seemed like it was the only store that was still opened.  Hmmm.. That was many years ago...

LZ @ Bentendo Pasta & Cafe

We have passed by this cafe many times and I have always wanted try out the food, but we never did...  I'm glad we had our dinner there tonight, the food and service was fantastic!

The pic on the left 2nd row is my main course, pasta soup. When I told LZdaddy I wanted to order that, he commented that it is weird to have pasta soup.  He took back what he said coz it was yummylicious!  My babies tried it and they like it! Even little Beanie asked for more!  Haha... The rest of the main courses that we ordered were yummy too!

We will definitely go there again as Great World City is one of the mall that we like.

The Brothers

This Bob The Builder set belongs to Z. Knowing that his baby brother loves Bob, he shares it with his brother.
He is very happy to have a brother to share his toys, that's what he told me.
He helped to set it up when his brother baby talk to him, think Beanie tried to tell him to set it up.
I love this moment...  I am thankful that I am around to see this...

Bento #175 (2 sets)- Easter

I tried to make an Easter bento for them but they didn't turn out that well.  I have a few ideas in mind but woke up late and had less time to prepare. What's new?

So here's the bento-s which my Babies think it's cute :

In the boxes: Chocolate Easter eggs, bunny shaped egg (L), car shaped egg (Z), raspberries, apples, nutella bunny shaped sandwiches (L) and peanut butter bunny shaped sandwiches (L)

The apples were supposed to look like bunny too,  I spent some time carving out the 'ears' but LZ didn't know it was 'bunnies'. Next year, if I am still preparing bento, I will try to make better Easter themed bento-s for LZ.
