Kiddos had fun before Daddy's flight arrived.   This is the FIRST time Beanie played on the T3 slide.   Love how L took care of him before he went in and Z waited for him at the end of the slide. ♥

I'm One Lucky Mommy!

Have been running high fever since yesterday...  And daddy is out of town to Germany.  During times like this, I feel especially emo and feel so blessed.

My older ones help me take care of their little brother, attend to all his needs. The keep him occupied so I can nap.  And last night, little one fell asleep without me tugging him in.  My older ones cleared table, shower and went to bed.  Bliss.... 

After everyone sleep, Z came over to sleep with me.  That's what he does whenever daddy out of town.   Poor boy didn't sleep well last night.  He woke up many times to check on me.  I feel like a baby.. ♥

This morning, they prepared breakfast for themselves and let me continue with my sleep.  So sweet isn't it? ♥ Thank you Babies!  You guys rock!  And I am so proud to be your mommy! Love you all always! ♥

While jiejie was having dinner at Swensen, we had dinner at Fish & Co. Despite a swollen eyes, Beanie was still his usual self.  He insisted Z put on the party hat...

My little boy is growing up way too fast...  He is getting more independent that most of the time, he wants to do things on his own or I can leave him alone for quite some time so that I carry on with my chores.  Instead of him having separation anxiety, I am probably the one!  Haha...   Ironically, he has to sleep with us in the night.  No matter how many times we carry him back to his bed after he falls asleep, the next day, we often find him snuggling next to me.

He still likes to arrange his toys, be it in a straight line or in this manner.

See what I mean?  When we go for buffet, he wants to take his own food too.  Nowadays, he usually tell us what he wants to eat.

Just like most of the kids, Beanie loves Macdonald!  Burger/nuggets, corn & his milk.

He is able to tell me what happened in school.  For instance, why he got the stickers. He followed instructions and behaved and was rewarded with these stickers.  He likes to tell me what engines are on the stickers.

He still likes to doodle.  Guess what is this?  Ant! He said ant has many legs.

He tried to draw fire engine but can't do it.  So he often asks the rest to draw for him.  This pic is his favourite now, pic drawn by L.

He loves playing games with LZ.  Knowing he doesn't know how to play chess, LZ often play zingo with him.  He loves this game! A great bonding activity for my little ones.

My Middle Child, My Rascal.

My Rascal, the one that I am most heartache about... Every time I look at his hands, I think of those times that they have been fractured...  I feel very guilty whenever I think of it...  If I have been more careful with him, he will not have to suffer so much and having to restart his piano & swimming lessons...

Whenever daddy and I talk about our rascal, we think about those nights that he comes over to our room with his sweetest smile, just so that he can sleep in our room. ♥  He loves it when we talk about it.   He often asks when does daddy travels overseas, so that he is able to bunk in with me.  He seldom comes to our room at night now coz his little bro sneaks in too.  Sometimes, we worry he will think that we love him less. So we often tell him that we love him no less and just that his bro is doing exactly what he used to do as a toddler.

Probably due to his injuries, we tend to be more protective towards him.   That's not good, it makes him rely more on us.  So we are gradually learning to let go... To let him learn to be more independent.

Love the way he always says when daddy is not in town, "mommy, I'm the man of the house when daddy is not around.  I will take care of you, jiejie & didi."

Unlike L, who is very sociable, Z is somewhat a very homely boy.   He doesn't have many friends as he is slow to warm up.    Given a choice to go school/church or stays at home, he chooses the latter.   Yes, he loves spending time with us.  No, he is not a mommy's boy.  If he meets someone of same interest with him, he yaks non stop.  Till now, he is unable to name all his classmates to me!  I mean the girls.  *faint*

When he is angry, he keeps quiet and write it down.  This is one of the notes that he wrote recently.  His anger is very often short lived.   Once he cools down, he will talk to me and we are always able to resolve it.   The party that is in the wrong will apologise, even it means that I have to.  As a parent, I think we should set a good example isn't it?

One of the things he loves to do is origami.  Daddy bought a few books on that and he loves folding papers into beautiful stuffs.  Sometimes, his way of showing affections to us is folding origami or draws pics and gives it to us (L does that too).

In school, my 老二 is doing very well.   For 2 years, he collected all the badges as he promised.   He was very happy when he was appointed as group leader for Chinese & Math.  His form teacher thinks highly of him.

He hasn't change his ambition, that is to be a scientist.  I told him to achieve that, he will have to study very hard and he promised to do that. Of coz I hope he will be able to achieve what he wish for...

Let me share a secret here, my boy has his first crush! Haha...  A girl from his class who is very good in her studies.  Can't believe my blur sotong boy has his first crush!  He admire her for being smart and good in her studies.  Isn't it sweet that both my older babies share their little secrets with me?

Z definitely knows how to melt my heart...   He declares openly that he loves me the most in the family.   Every other day, he tells me that.. ♥ How sweet!  Like his siblings, Z also often massage for me.  Yeah, that shows how filial he is.  Not only him, my other 2 babies too.  I wonder if he will still do that when he grows up?    He also says he wants to stay with me when he get married, even though it's gonna be a long way from now,  I am touched....

I have mentioned before his relationship with his sister, they love each other, they fight and yet sometimes I see him adores his sister.  He loves his little bro even though Beanie bully him.  I often sees him playing with Beanie the toys he likes, even though he outgrow it.  Love to see how they play together... ♥

My rascal, mommy loves you as much as your 2 siblings.  You are forever my little rascal no matter how old you are.  Be positive in whatever you do and stay cheerful the way you are.

My Lovely Sweetie

 I am very blessed and thank GOD for a beautiful daughter, not only that, she is of great help to me. ♥  She may be only 10 (in December) but she is mature for her age.  At times, I have to tell myself that coz I expect more from her and go overboard with the expectations.  I set a higher expectation of her coz her brothers look up to her and learn stuffs from her.

 She dotes on her brothers, filial, helpful, caring etc... The list goes on & on...  Of coz there are times she drives me NUTS!  But when I think of the things she did, I forgive her and again, I have to remind myself she is only a child...

We love spending time together. ♥  Sometimes both of us sneak out when the brothers take naps and daddy is around.  It may just be going to the mall or supermarkets, but we treasure the times we have together.

I love it when she shares 'secrets' with me.  I hope she will be more than just a daughter to me...  I hope she will treat me as her good friend as well.  I'm very glad that she shares it with me, be it mischievous in school or who she likes in school.... I long for a daughter, even before marriage and to have such a relationship with her and am glad it is like this now... ♥

She is such sweet talker and a very thoughtful gal.  Every other day, I will receive compliments from her.    Isn't she lovely? ♥ "你是我的肚子里的一条虫" That's what I always tell her (and likewise too), she often knows what I am thinking through my eyes or my actions.  Yeah, I don't have to tell her what's I have in mind.  She loves to hand made stuffs for us too and often use recycling stuffs, that shows she love the environment.

Her relationships with her 2 brothers are similar but yet quite different, maybe because Z is about her age and Beanie is much younger than her.  Nevertheless, she dotes on them and she never fails to show her affections to them. ♥  Perhaps sometimes, in a different way.  She gives in to Beanie all the time but not Z. And yes, they do fight! I mean literally fight!  Sometimes I give up being a mediator, I would open the door and tell them "You guys want to fight? Go out and fight!"  That actually stop them from fighting!  Haha...

When Beanie wakes up (on weekends), very often she will prepare easy breakfast for him, like cereal with milk or whatever he ask for that she is able to do it.  She also helps him pack his toys or read books with him etc.

For Z, they chat very often especially before bedtime, confide to each other, play chess etc. I know she loves him because of the things she does.  She writes notes to him, keep him company when he's scared and she even wrote a song for him!

Something that I have to note down... She was selected for a leadership programme at the beginning of this year (think was around March), but my dear girl thinking that the time clashed with her swimming test and told the teacher she didn't want it. Haiz...  From what I know, this is a very good programme and the teacher definitely sees the potential in her.. It was too late when she told teacher she changed her mind.

In school, she is doing pretty well, getting along with her friends but still talking too much.  She was also appointed as monitor for certain subjects (different subjects has different monitor).  We know she can achieves better, even the teachers say that.

Recently, she completed her NAFA test and she got a GOLD! It is something like a sport test, running, standing broad jump etc...  Well done my girl!

Sweetie, mommy wants you to know that I love you as much as your brothers.  Having 2 younger brothers doesn't mean my love for you is any lesser. You are forever mommy's little girl and I love you so much Sweetie... ♥

Beanie @ 24 Months

My little Beanie is 2 yr old! These few days, he's super duper cute! He wants me to kiss one side of his cheek, then the other and follows by his lips. So affectionate! He is our 开心果, he brings so much joy & laughter to us. LZ adore his little brother & likewise, he adores his sister & brother. They give in to him all the time, despite protest from me at times. They often say "mommy, he is our baby!"

My little 2 yr old now able to tell us more each day and tries to say it in sentences. "I don't want this!" "I want this!" Whenever he sees vehicles (bus, big/small truck, bike, taxi, car) on the road, he happily points and tells me what they are. I would usually ask him what colour they are and he is able to say it most of the time. Besides that, he loves animals, we often go through his animal books. The first animal that he knows is 'cat', that's because we have lots of stray cats around our neighbourhood. He know cat - meow, dog - woof, tiger - roar, snake - sssss etc...

Apart from teaching him English, I am teaching him Chinese too which I totally forgot to mention at all! He was able to point to his body parts since last month or earlier. 鼻子，嘴巴， 眼睛， 手，脚， 耳朵， 肚子。 He is also able to say most of them. There's no video of it coz he refused to let me record it.

Number wise, he follows what I say and I kinda lazy to follow up on that, teaching him the value and recognise the numbers. Gotta remove the lazy bones in me.

 Whenever we are in the car waiting for LZ, he would ask to sit in the front sit with me. "Bean bean sit mama." means "I want to sit with you." After being 'trapped' in the car for more than half hour, he would usually "Bean bean walk walk." means "I want to go down for a walk."

He loves to read. He often takes a book to me and we go through it together. So he is able to name many things which I have a hard time remembering all. He still likes to doodle, sometimes he has to go out with all those marks on his legs or hands!

Beanie is a very expressive boy. Whenever he sees something that amazes him or he manage to do something, he says "wowwwww!" When he is angry, he shows it by folding his arms in front of him and says "Hmph!". Love it when I ask him to show me angry face, happy and baby crying face.

One of the things that I am really very happy is that he enjoys eating. He eats whatever is placed on his plate/bowl. The only thing that he probably doesn't like for now is kiwi. I will try to it again till he likes it.
