Yummmmmsss! That's what I got for breakfast this morning on my birthday! LZ (including Beanie) gave me homemade birthday cards and they massaged me!

A simple birthday celebration @ Conrad Hotel, Oscar's. We all had a wonderful time and ate till our heart content. I'm very blessed.... Thank you LZdaddy & Babies.... I love all of you!

Back To Swimming

After such a looooong time, I finally found another swim coach for Z and he started his swimming lesson this afternoon. Together with my friends' kids, there are 6 of them and all of them are girls except him and the coach is a woman. I've tried to arranged swimming lessons with his buddy from kindergarten but timing just not right.

Oh my! Don't you think Z puts on lots of weight?

We stopped his lessons with the previous coach (which is L's coach and she is still under his coaching) as he didn't enjoy the lesson with him. To us, most important is that our kids enjoy the lessons with their teachers/coach. We didn't want to force him, even if it means that we have send kids for swimming at a different timing or day.

He wasn't too keen when he found out he was the only boy is the class. I told him at least to try out a few lessons with the new coach and what matters most is that he will be able to learn how to swim.

The new coach is very nice, so far, for the first lesson. She seems very motherly. Z seemed to enjoy the lesson, it was not as 'boring' as what he thought and let's hope he will continue to enjoy.

It's the first time I saw yellow dragonfruit in the supermarket. I was curious to find out what it tastes like. Well, it tastes the same as the red dragonfruit.

Beanie @ 20 Months Old

I realised I hardly update the words he is able to say since his first words. At 20 months, we have taught him to use words like pleee (please) and 谢 (谢谢/thank you), he doesn't know when to use it but we often tell him to say it when he needs to. He likes to repeat after me and that makes it easier for me to teach him. Whenever he is able say it, we praise him and even if he can't say it well, we still praise him and repeat the words to him. He will say the words again and again till he thinks it is enough. Think he is a keen learner.

@ 20 Months Old:

♥  he is still very much into iphone.  He knows where his games are and knows where to find his favourite videos in youtube (I've added them to favourites)

♥ He enjoys slotting coins into this piggy bank.  If he sees any coins around, he slot them in.

♥  One of his favourites past time is taking out the tank engine and putting them back. He does this many times a day.

♥  He prefers to sit on to chair for his snacks.  So nowadays, he uses his highchair only during meal time.

Note: Been so busy 'studying' with my older ones that I forgot to take pics of Beanie on the day he turned 20 months old and it happened to be daddy's birthday.

LZdaddy's Birthday

 We ordered a hedgehog birthday cake for our birthday man (his favourite animal)

A mini celebration for LZdaddy this year again and looks like it's gonna be the same till our babies' are grown up. Hehe..... It was exams period for my 2 older babies.  父爱是那么的伟大！ LZdaddy 说他宁愿把时间放在陪孩子读书。

L & Z were very sweet....  They made cards for daddy & a medal!  My girl is full of ideas!  She was the one who came out with the idea of making a medal for daddy.   After our kids presented the medal & cards to him, LZdaddy was beaming! Yes, even without going out for dinner or any celebration we enjoyed very much, especially the birthday man.

In the box:  Sausages in hotdog bun,  more sausages & mini apples.

My girl requested for sausage bun...  With only mini sausages left, I did this pocket sausage bun for her instead.  She likes it this way!

Does this look like a rabbit with swollen ears?  I need to practice more to make a better looking one. My girl is soooo SWEET, she said it does look like a rabbit.

In the boxes: Apple, sweet peas, steamed egg with minced pork and rice.

Bento for my girl.  I used the elephant stencil (that I bought from Daiso) and sprayed it with color food spray.  It was messy, as you can see the side of the box was stained too.
