I Am Ready For Beanie's Arrival

Call me a kiasu mom. Now that I am pregnant for the 3rd time, I am sourcing around for good baby products for Beanie. One that I will stick by faithfully will be the products by Huggies. As newborn’s skin is most delicate, I know for sure I would use Huggies Ultra diapers for Beanie.

My past experience with diapers was a nightmare! Besides having to wake up to feed LZ, I had to change their diapers frequently due to the poor absorbency too. By the time I was done with the diaper changing, I would be so awake! There were times when I was too tired to change their diapers, LZ would end up with very bad diaper rash and their bed would be wet and the room would be filled with stench. Oops! I have just given away how incompetent I was back then. Even now when I come to think of it, I feel really bad for Z who had to gone through all the itchiness and pain caused by the rashes.

Things changed for the better when Z started using Huggies Ultra diapers. It has not only helped prevent diaper rash, the Ultra–Absorbent Pad is also capable in locking away wetness and keeping my babies dry for very long hours. On top of that, its Hug-flex design also allows easy movement and gives better comfort to my baby. YES! Since then Z had been sleeping very well and I had no more issue with lack of sleep and problems with rashes.

Because of the high quality of the diapers, I was more willing to try on other Huggies products - Huggies Baby wipes and Huggies^® Little Swimmers^® Swimpants. I simply love using their swimpants.

Once L put on a disposable diaper and went into the pool. The diaper was so heavy and almost came off when I tried to get her out of the water. However, it is a total different story for HUGGIES swimpants, it is so easy to remove and the cute designs made her little butt looked so cute! Hahaha…

It has been 4 years since my last pregnancy and I have almost forgotten what to expect during this period. Thanks to HUGGIES WEBSITE, I don’t have to worry anymore! It provides lots of useful tips on pregnancy and parenting tips. What I like is the weekly guide of my pregnancy and a list of activities that I can do with Beanie. I am also planning to have Beanie to take part in the Huggies Ultra Photo Contest. Besides that, it has a forum which I can share info with other mommies and mommies to be.

Well, I am ready for Beanie’s arrival, knowing that I can trust HUGGIES products and I can’t wait to see my baby and to try out the activities with him.

Bento #101 & Field Trip

L went to Giant supermarket yesterday, arranged by the school. She was very excited that she got to do 'marketing' with her classmates and teacher. She told me teacher had a hard time looking for all of them coz they ran all over the snack section. Kids.... She was so cute when she described to me what happened.

They bought plenty of snacks and they ate some of it yesterday and kept some for today's class party. I thought it was a good idea that the school arranged the trip and the party for the children.

As I forgotten today she had a party today, I prepared a bento for her. I was glad that she came back with a empty bento box. She told me she didn't want me to waste my effort so she ate the food before joining her class party. How sweet...

Slurping It

After seeing jiejie slurping down down the soft boiled egg, Z decided to give it a try too. Yes! Finally we got him to try it out and he likes it! Now we will have a new item on his breakfast menu.

The Boy Did It Again! ARRGGGHHH!

L was so proud of what I have prepared for her Halloween bento that she showed to her form teacher one of the items from the box, the orange (during recess). The next thing that happened made me really mad! Arrgghhhh! While she was doing that, one of her classmates, a boy, stepped onto her bento box! Her classmate, Clare immediately informed her.

My girl called as soon as she can and she almost cried out. She asked if it was ok for her not to finish eating the bento. Of coz she can't eat it! The worst thing is I forgot to give her any pocket money! I told her to inform her form teacher about the incident and asked if she can borrow money from her teacher to buy some more food from the canteen.

I was fuming mad at home while preparing for lunch and decided to sms her teacher. How could the boy do this to her? This is not the first time this boy did all the nonsense to her. I blog about one of the incidents HERE and there were other occasions too. The worst thing is that next year they will still be in the same class! I have spent so much time preparing this bento for her, she didn't even have a chance to finish the food, she has to borrow money and it is so unfortunate that she has such a classmate!

I finally get to speak to the teacher after school, she called me. She didn't know what actually happened and she thought L meant that the boy stepped on her foot instead. She was wondering why because of that L needed money from her. Teacher apologized and told me she will look into the matter. It is not the teacher's fault at all! Something has to be done and sure hope the parents do something about this boy's behavior.
