Cycling Lessons - L

There was something we hoped to do this holiday, that was for L to learn how to cycle!  It has been put on hold for too long... We had tried it over one of the weekends or something but failed.  Actually, it was supposed to be easy for me to coach her.  But I have no strength to hold on to her bike to guide her and at the same time I have to take care of my 2 boys.   And my dear girl was afraid of falling and probably too shy... 

My dear girl wasn't very keen but I managed to convince her to learn it. Told her if one day her friends want to go cycling and she doesn't know how, it will be no fun for her.  Well, that was really a motivation for her!  Haha! 

I found on the internet a cycling coach and the coach is a she!   Isn't it great?  

What was the boys up to then?  They were scootering & running around!

Just halfway through the lesson, L was already cycling!  Not stable but she was cycling!   But because I had to sign up for 2 days course, the next day we went for lesson again.  This time, after a few rounds of warming up, she was ready for the 'obstacle' that the coach set up.

After 2 lessons on 2 different day, she knows how to cycle!   I was very happy for her but somehow feel a little sad?!   I was the one who taught Z how to cycle and was hoping I would be the one to teach her too.   Nevertheless, I am so glad she knows how to cycle now!  Oh! Daddy thinks that I'm the one that taught her how to cycle! Haha..

Dance Odyssey 2012

A Day we so looked forward to!  Her 2nd performance for ballet!  After learning so many years, this is only her second performance..  This time her costume looked so much better than the previous, more like a ballerina.

Pic taken while waiting for my friend. So sweet of my friend to pick L up and send her to the venue.  She was asked to put on make up before going. 

This year, they are very lenient about photography and videography.  I managed to capture a few shots of her. 

I could see that she really enjoyed dancing on stage.  Her smile says it all!

Her besties and her after performance.  The girls actually changed out of their costume but we told them to change it back coz we mommies yet to take pics for them!  Haha...  The have known each other ever since they started ballet.  Friendship forever girls!

You did a fantastic job today girl!  We are so happy to be there! 

A love note from my girl

What a surprise I received when I sat down in front of my pc, when I was about to write some backdated posts...  a little note from my girl, with a handmade envelope..  Well, I shouldn't be surprise at all.  She often write note to me but this time it's different.

I felt really bad and sorry for neglecting my princess..  I'm sure any mommies would feel the same way as I am now.  She said

Whassup dude!? (she called me a dude!)
I don't think I spend enough time with my favourite & only mommy!
Do you think you & I could go on a 'DATE'?  We could go shopping or something....

I have to admit I neglect spending individual time with my little ones.  So many times I wanted to but with no help at all and daddy busy with his work, I hardly even have time for anything... Yes my dear girl,  we will find time to spend together...  I'm so sorry mommy neglected you(kind of)..  Forgotten at times you are just a little girl who wants to spend time alone with mommy. ♥

Kiddos had fun before Daddy's flight arrived.   This is the FIRST time Beanie played on the T3 slide.   Love how L took care of him before he went in and Z waited for him at the end of the slide. ♥

We had a good laugh over who we look like when we played with this app.  Suddenly everyone was so keen to take pics!  My kiddos have no idea who are they though (most of them) but they enjoyed it, asking who is who and what they do.
