Parent - Teacher Session ~ L

It's the time of the year for the PTS.... One of the things I like abt the school is that we don't have to wait till the session then we get feedback of our children's progress. Whenever I fetch my children, I can always ask the teachers. I think this session should be more for daddies. Hehehe.... Most of the times, L will tell me what's happening in school, what has she done, who she hang out with, etc...

This afternnoon we went to the school for the parent teacher session. None of our family members were free to look after my babies, so had to bring them along.

Our appt were at 1300hr but we were late ( what's new?). Waited for awhile coz teachers were having session with other parents. 15mins later, L's chinese teacher (Ms Zhou) came.... From her teacher's report, we were glad that she has began to try to converse with her teacher in mandarin and she has shown great improvement! Ms Zhou told us that she needs more practice for her writing skill though. OK... Mommy will spend more time with her on that.

Then we have the discussion with her main teacher, Ms B and the principal, Ms L. Ms B said her academic and social skills are good and she is very vocal. We were told that she is very inquisitive which we both agreed. Sometimes she asked too many questions till we have no answer and we don't intend to stop her from asking. Ms B said that is gd for her especially in future when she attend lectures. That also the reason she is not stopping her too. She said that nowadays when students attend lectures, they don't ask/ too shy to ask/ don't dare to speak up. I've been telling L that if she don't understand or don't know, she must always ask. Hmmm... So effective meh?

Overall, BS and me are very happy with her progress in school.
