Who Loves Bob?

This picture is for my Beanie!   He loves Bob!  Bob is one of the first words that he knows how to say.  Whenever he sees Bob's pic on my pc, he points and says "BOB! BOB! ...."  Haha...  Nowadays, cutting nails for him is quite easy.  I just have to go to youtube and plays the Bob's song.  Bob must be with him when he sleeps!  When he gets into the car, he points at the screen and ask for Bob too!

I have been trying to look for more Bob's stuffs for him but can't seems to find any. Soft toy, figurines, books.  He will be thrilled if he sees more.  I think Bob is no longer the 'IN' thing to own now but I will still try to find it for him.

Wonder if he will still like Bob next year?  I may have to get him a Bob the builder birthday cake again.  Hehe...

Dinner @ Putien

This is our first time having dinner at Putien (not for Daddy).  Friends & LZdaddy told me the food is good but babies & I never get to try it till today.  Simply because we had early dinner, otherwise we will have to wait if we go there half hour later.  I'm not that patient when comes to waiting.

My babies enjoyed their dinner.  In the video, Beanie nods his head and looks like he agrees with me.

I was impressed by the service, especially the waiter.  When LZdaddy casually mentioned that we often change our mind having dinner because of the queue,  he gave us his number!  He told us he will reserves a table for us if we plan to have our meal there again!  The when he asked about the service, LZdaddy told him what he thought of the noodle.  He gave us vouchers!  Is this their usual service?  I am impressed!  Putien did a great job in training their staffs.   We will definitely be back often to the restaurant.

Arcade Games

My kids enjoy arcade games.  I think most kids do.  My kids don't go there that often, I find that  money 'fly' away very fast...  Hehe...   Maybe once a month or more if they do something that deserve the reward.

Today they were were happy that they get to play arcade games again.  My kids do collect the cards, otherwise it would be such a waste to throw it away.  So I bought them a card holder each to keep the cards.

While my 2 older babies playing their games, Beanie was so bored...  So I put him on those kiddy rides.  I know the pics are not clear but it shows how happy he is!  AND the best thing was it was not moving at all!  Haha...
My girl commented once that her classmate has a big card holder that contains lots of cards (full) and the one she had is much smaller and only half filled.  I know she envied her classmate....  I explained to her and my boy too what we could do more with the amount of money spent on arcade games.  I asked her which one she prefers then?  Use the money on better things or for that few minutes of fun?   She agreed with me.
See the different queue? 2 lanes for kids to play as long as they want and the other 2 lanes are express lane.  Kids on those lane will have to let others play when they finish 3 games.  I once witnessed (not today) how parents argued over this queuing thingy. Terrible huh?  I was so glad my boy wanted to play 3 games only coz he doesn't like to queue!  Haha...  He rather play Dinosaur King which he likes too.

Nowadays, they are contented when we visit the arcade once a month. Sometimes, our schedule are packed that they forgot about the once a month trip to the arcade.

LZ @ SLIDE

Fannie has told me about the Slide @ T3 for a long time and we finally drop by the place today. LZ were thrilled with the Slide,  LZdaddy & I were more interested in food.  I think Beanie was also more interested in food too!  Hehe...

LZ were not interested in going for the short Slide and they insisted on going for the tallest slide.  Well, it was their day as well as their fun so why not?   Obviously, one round of it was not enough for them.

After 2 rounds of the Slide, they wanted to go for more, unfortunately it was closing soon.  I am very sure this place will be our favourite hangout (for the school hoilday) till they get tired of it.  Hmmm.... I don't think they will get tired of it so soon...

PTS - LZ

This year PTM (Parents-Teacher-Meeting) is quite unlike from the past 2 years.  We need only go to 1 place for the meeting and we arranged the timing one after another.   We looked forward to getting their results (we already knew their papers results but not the overall results).

This is Z's FIRST exams and PTM (primary school).  We heard very positive comments from Z's teachers about him.  He has made us proud!  He scored more than 90% for all his subjects, including Chinese!  He scores full marks for English oral composition "My hobby - drawing".   He brought along his best art piece and presented to his class.  For Chinese, I think he did quite well, otherwise I don't think he will scores more than 90%.  It was 我最喜欢的水果- 西瓜。He brought along a big slice of watermelon for the oral which he finished in class. Haha..

Z's form teacher said he is a very helpful boy who often helps those that need help in their studies.  She also said that he is very obedient and focus in class.  The only thing that he needs to improve on is to remember to hand in papers that we need to sign on time.  Oops!! We are at fault...

I remembered my boy often tells me he wants to get all the badges and he strives to be a good student and do well in his studies.  He hopes he will be appointed as a prefect when he goes to P3.   Looks like my boy is trying his best to work towards his dream.

My girl did well for her exams too!  What surprises me was her Science!  She was the 3rd highest for Science.. Honestly, I thought she may fail it coz the night before the paper, she was rushing to finish the topics. We were so worried....  She was not confident with the Science paper at all and kept telling what if she fails and she can't find her Science textbook the day before the exams!  It is so unlike her... I told her to try her best and even if she scores just above 50%, I know she did her best. She listed Science as her least preferred subject before exams and now, it is her 2nd favourite (Maths is her favourite). Haha....

L did very well for her Maths too!  I better mention that LZdaddy was the one who coach her on both the subjects.  Hehe...  We pulled her out from the Maths tuition this year and decided that LZdaddy would coach her on these 2 subjects. I think we made the right move.  Yes, even though he travels often, he makes efforts to coach her whenever he is in town.

The other 2 subjects that I helped her with, the results drop a little.  And we send her for tuition for these 2 subjects!  I am thinking of switching her to another tuition center or perhaps she should spend more time at home and I coach her.  According the teachers, it is expected that these 2 subjects to drop a little.  Sweetie, mommy is very sorry...

Overall, we are very HAPPY with our Babies' results.  LZ hope they will score better than this mid year exams and I know my babies will do their best.
