I See Beanie!

A very rush morning... Getting LZ ready for school and getting myself ready. Yes! I went for my gynae appointment! LZ was disappointed that they can't go with us and I promised them the next appointment I will book it on a Saturday so everyone can see Beanie.

LZdaddy was only away for a week and he said my tummy is bigger! Oh dear! I had the feeling I put on more than a kg and I did! I eat as per normal but I have craving for fizzy drink. Blessed Mum, next time when we have coffee date, please don't let me order anymore of it!

First thing my doc commented was that I put on too much for the past few weeks. She was nagging at me. She said that since I have morning sickness, I shouldn't be putting so much weight. Then she asked what have I been eating and I told her I eat as per normal and my intake is the same. She said I should stop my intake of fizzy drink and cut down on juices. She rather I drink more milk. She warned me that I am going to put on as much weight as I did for LZ. I put on 26kg and 25kg respectively for L & Z. Gosh!

Then it was time to look at little Beanie! Awww.... I teared when I saw my baby! I commented that how come my baby wasn't moving. The next thing I knew, she/he was 'waving' and 'kicking'! So cute! Like telling me "Mommy! I'm ok! Look!" Hahaha.... LZdaddy and I were like a new parents once again. Doc measured her neck length and pointed to us Beanie's nose, mouth, chin, hands and legs. We also heard the heartbeats! My due date has been pushed forward to 2 days earlier, 24th Feb. Hope Beanie will not 'pop' during Chinese New Year. Let mommy enjoy CNY goodies first ok?

Then when we were seated down again, we asked about the test that we need to do and the risks. This time we won't be doing the triple test but the amio test. Now you know roughly how old I am. That's the reason why doc measured the neck length, showed us the chin and nose. We are still thinking whether to do it. We wouldn't have to decide till I am about 17 weeks.

LZdaddy is so sweet to ask when can he start preparing tonic for me. I think both of us have forgotten about all these things, like when and how. Doc teased him "Aiyo! Still need to boil tonic?" Yes. Hubby simply loves it when I am fat fat. Hahaha... For the past 2 pregnancies, he has been the one that boil tonics for me. So sweet hor? I am so blessed to marry to him!

As soon as checkup was over, we rushed to pick Z from school. First thing he said when he got into the car "mommy, where is Baby's picture?" He remembered! I told him that I will show him Beanie's pic after checkup. I showed him and pointed to him where's the hands, legs, face etc... He gave me a puzzled look, wondering why Beanie looks like that. Hahaha....

After having lunch, we picked L up from school. She asked the same question! Hahaha.... She asked before she even sit in the car! Both of them remembered! I can tell they really look forward to seeing Beanie. I am sooooo HAPPY! Yes! We have booked the next appointment on Saturday so LZ could come along and see little Beanie in action!
